Participant Testimonials:
“Flora Emily has been a fantastic tutor and mentor to me for many years. She is patient and honest, committed and reliable, possessing incredible knowledge of the industry and its crafts. Emily’s guidance has been instrumental in my career and she will always be one of the first people I turn to for a shot of advice, and a booster of courage." “Flora Emily’s room is an absolute joy to be a part of. She is supportive, approachable and comes up with original and creative ways to teach and discuss concepts. I have always felt encouraged by her and she is generous with her time and advice even outside of class. She has also done some dramaturgical work for me in the past and her insight and expertise was invaluable.” "Emily taught me throughout my teenage years and really helped me to realise my potential as a performer and theatremaker in numerous ways. She helped me to realise my strengths in comedy and improvisation whilst also pushing me out of my comfort zone to help me find new talents, such as puppetry. Her monologue coaching has proven invaluable to my getting into both the National Youth Theatre and The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, as she helped me put together my actors toolbox and shaped my approach to every role/speech I am provided with. I cannot thank her enough and wholeheartedly recommend her as a teacher!!" |
